Huckleberry Summer Camp
A back-to-basics, old-fashioned and fun-filled summer day camp for children (who have completed kindergarten) ages 5-12.
INFORMATION |
||
Huckleberry Summer Camp takes place on the campus of Sipe’s Orchard Home, located between Hickory and Conover on County Home Road. With hundreds of acres in rural Catawba County, this ideal site provides wide open spaces, forest trails, streams, and fishing ponds. Meeting/crafts areas and the picnic pavilion provide indoor and sheltered spaces. Huckleberry Summer Camp draws on Sipe's Orchard Home's experience enriching young people's lives. With friends and other children from the community, campers benefit from the safe and nurturing environment Sipe's has fostered for over seventy five years. A perfect site, great activities, and an enthusiastic and well-trained staff add up to a summer of fun.
Sipe’s Orchard Home is a sponsor and site for the Summer Food Service Program for the meals provided for children enrolled in the Huckleberry Summer Camp Program. |
