To help alleviate the long waiting list in Catawba County for quality daycare for one and two year olds, Sipe's opened a toddler classroom in November, 2010.
|
Using the same curriculum approach as the other Tyndall Center classrooms, the toddlers learn through playing. With individualized screenings, parent conferences, goals, and objectives, the toddlers benefit from the resources and expertise of the five-star Tyndall Center. | ![]() |

Sheila Moseley, the Director of Early Age Education, says that the toddlers are always changing. "At this age they're developing so fast," she explains, "that every day it seems someone does something new, whether it's drink from a cup or take a first step or learn a new word."
She adds, "And they're all such cuddle-bugs who are always happy to settle in your lap for a book or a nap."
There are spaces currently available, and Ms. Moseley hopes the program will expand this coming year with additional children and teachers. Call her at extension 316 for more information.
