More-At-Four Classrooms

The More-at-Four classrooms in the Tyndall Center provide a specialized educational program for 36 at-risk four-year-olds. These children receive extra help, support, and attention to ensure their readiness for kindergarten and success later in school.

The More-at-Four program is a statewide initiative introduced by Governor Easley and funded by Smart Start; Sipe's is the only private provider of More-at-Four classrooms in Catawba County.

With bright and spacious classrooms, inviting playground, books, games, and special events, the More-at-Four teachers engage the children in a variety of educational experiences throughout the day. The children learn academic, social, behavioral, and problem solving skills whether they are gathering for snack time, riding tricycles, listening to a story, painting, or meeting a guest speaker.

Before & After Care

To compliment and expand this rich educational experience, Sipe's offers Before and After care for the More-at-Four preschoolers. Children can come early, stay late, and benefit from the same five-star program and facilities. Full-day programs are available on most school holidays and during the summer.
